Our mentoring empowerment training programs is aimed at imparting information to individuals who are currently in or pursuing a mentorship role. The goal is to improve their performance or to help the individual attain the knowledge or skill required to mentor and empower another successfully. The training program curriculum is designed to teach individuals how to effectively mentor and empower another while incorporating social emotional learning (S.E.L.) practices.
Currently, we offer 2 training program:
- M.E.T. (Mentor Empowerment Training): Are for individuals that are in college, professional field and in adult hood. Throughout this training program, the adult mentor in training will be responsible for mentoring a Jr. Mentor and middle school mentees throughout the duration of the program.
- Jr. M.E.T. (Junior Mentor Empowerment Training): Are for individuals that are currently in high school. In this training program, high school students will have the opportunity to be mentored and trained by a senior mentor while being responsible for mentoring a middle school student.
