MENTEE SPOTLIGHT

Social Emotional Skills in Action

This month we are proud to showcase Johnny, a sixth grader in our after school Mentorship Program at Brooks Middle School. Johnny is an exemplary mentee. His ability to lead by example through his strong social emotional skills deeply impacts the environment. Johnny is quick to engage new peers in the program and offer support to fellow mentees. He also serves as a YEMBA ambassador at the monthly Soup & Bread community meal where he shares his YEMBA experience with the community.
