SCHOOL YEAR (6th - 8th Grade)
After School
This program launches Phase 1 of our Continuum of Mentorship. M.E.P. supports students with the knowledge, leadership skills, and decision-making tools to succeed as they transition to middle school while building a strong foundation for them to excel throughout the remainder of their academic career and into adulthood.
The program takes place on site at Brooks & Julian Middle Schools. Students join mentors, junior mentors, and staff for one-on-one & group mentoring, homework help, life-skills workshops, exploration workshops, and recreational activities.

Career & Volunteer Opportunities
YEMBA is looking for passionate volunteers!
This program takes students into Phase 2 of our Continuum of Mentorship. After transitioning to high school, students have the opportunity to support and empower middle school students as junior mentors while still receiving support and empowerment from adult mentors. The training program curriculum is designed to teach individuals how to effectively mentor and empower one another while incorporating social-emotional learning practices. This is a paid opportunity.
